10 x efficiency improvement achieved for lighting systems
Using commercially available LED lighting sources, Juice has achieved a 10 fold improvement in system efficiency over traditional incandescent lamps. Achieved as part of a project to develop consumer installable systems for the home this breakthrough will enable house lighting to become carbon neutral through the use of low cost renewable energy.

ZeroContactTM power transfer enhances safety, reliability and flexibility

The most unreliable components in any electrical system are the connectors but Juice's technical team have solved the problem by eliminating metal to metal contacts. This enables connections to be simply made and unmade without danger of touching live components or damaging insulation. Juice's Managing Director, Ian Turner says "We see this development enabling anyone to install high efficiency electrical systems, a major step towards the uptake of low carbon technologies in the home".
